JBH Management, Ltd. Co. was established in 2014 to fulfill a need in the midlands for creating and professionally managing home owner associations, particularly those that were in a stage of distress following the 2008 housing crisis. The company has offices in Sumter and Columbia and has managed associations in Lexington, Richland, Newberry, Spartanburg, Orangeburg, and Sumter Counties.  We are looking to expand into other areas of the state.

JBH is owned by John Hilton III, local to Sumter, who has been in the real estate business for 19 years.  He is an attorney who focuses primarily on HOA and real estate transactions, and is in the real estate investment, sales and development business.  JBH has a number of other excellent team members who have extensive experience in HOA and property management.

We understand a home is the largest investment most people will make in their lifetime and protecting that investment is paramount. We are also keenly aware that properties in neighborhoods with active, viable, and cohesive HOA’s maintain much higher values than neighborhoods without guidelines or direction.

We stand ready to establish long term, mutually beneficial relationships with the advisory board in each community to ensure their neighborhood retains top resale values and is managed professionally and respectfully.
